Position title: social worker for medical support

Background

The charitable organization “Charity Foundation” Rokada “, founded in 2003, is implementing partner of the UN Refugee Agency, and carrying out social assistance projects for refugees and asylum seekers in Ukraine.One of the services is to provide support in the organization of medical treatment for the most vulnerable asylum seekers and refugees.

Responsibilities:

- Organization of medical examination and treatment of clients;

 - Accompaniment to medical facilities;

 - Monitoring of clients health;

 - Preparation of client’s medical documents for further evaluation health situation of client;

 - Coordination with medical facilities about the treatment of clients;

 - Cooperation \ coordination with partner organizations;

- Social counseling of clients;

- Accompaniment to government agencies;

 - Conducting medical documentation, financial, social and medical reports

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

 - University degree in social, pedagogical, psychological sciences or in the field of health care (Bachelor/Master);

Experience

 - Minimum 2 years of working experience in implementing social programs;

- Is welcomed experience in volunteer activities in the social sphere (with children, with people who are in difficult life circumstances);

 - Experience in writing business texts in English;

 - Good knowledge of legislation on health protection and social policy;

 - Fluent in Windows, Internet, MS Office

Languages

Excellent English, Ukrainian, and Russian (verbal and written);

Personal qualities:

 - Stress resistance;

- Tolerance to people of different nationalities and different religious views;

 - High level of responsibility;

 - To be ready to irregular working day;

- Ability to react quickly in stressful situations
