The Charity Foundation “NEW WAY” is a non-profit non-governmental organization working in the field of humanitarian aid, rehabilitation and development. Our main focus is the implementation of projects in the areas of WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene).
The organization is looking for a Logistics Officer based in Dnipro to support projects assisting in housing restoration, water supply, sanitation, and hygiene.
Probation period: 2 months
Responsibilities:
Logistics:
- Manage day-to-day logistics operations, including preparing all the support documents;
- Ensure safe and efficient transport of staff to the project locations;
- Manage transport requests, as per the project needs of the daily staff movement;
- Coordinate Driver’s movements, ensure proper tracking of vehicle movements and dispatch further checking of Logbooks filling;
- Search and assess new premises and warehouses, including conclusion of lease agreements;
- Maintaining the assets list;
- Arrangements for duty travels, hotel reservations, tickets;
- Ensure that all office equipment and facilities work properly;
- Ensure that stationery, cleaning materials, and other office supplies are replenished on time and with good quality;
- Performing other duties such as negotiating office service contracts: office rent, internet, drinking water supply, ensuring the delivery of documents by courier services, photocopying, mailing, and filing.
Procurement:
- Contribute to maintaining the local supplier database up-to-date;
- Manage timely office supply to avoid running out of stock;
- Provide quality and quantity control of the purchased products and services;
- Participation in stock inventory;
- Ensure effective and efficient relationships with vendors.
Requirements:
- High degree in Logistic, Economics (finance), Administration, or a relevant professional experience;
- Essential previous working experience of at least one year in similar positions;
- Essential good command of Russian and Ukrainian, Good command of position context English, both written and spoken;
- High-level competency in computer skills (Microsoft Office applications);
- Preferable previous humanitarian experience;
- Strong administrative skills including attention to details;
