The Charity Foundation “NEW WAY” is a non-profit non-governmental organization working in the field of humanitarian aid, rehabilitation and development. Our main focus is the implementation of projects in the areas of WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene).

To support projects to assist in housing restoration, water supply, sanitation and hygiene, the organization is looking for a Procurement and Logistics Officer based in Kyiv.

Probation period: 2 months

Responsibilities:

-       Support the Procurement and Logistics Coordinator in conducting procurement related to the project implementation following internal and donor guidelines and Ukrainian regulations;

-       Ensure that accurate procurement documentation is maintained both in hard and soft copies;

-       Provide quality and quantity control of the purchased products and services;

-       Ensure effective and efficient relationships with vendors;

-       Arrangements for duty travels, hotel reservations, tickets;

-       Ensure that all office equipment and facilities work properly;

-       Ensure that stationery, cleaning materials, and other office supplies are replenished on time and with good quality;

-       Performing other duties such as negotiating office service contracts: office rent, internet, drinking water supply, ensuring the delivery of documents by courier services, photocopying, mailing, and filing.

Requirements:

-       At least a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement or at least 1 year of work experience in a similar position;

-       Essential good command of Ukrainian, both written and verbal, and good command of English;

-       High-level competency in computer skills (Microsoft Office applications);

-       Working experience in an NGO will be an asset;

-       Strong administrative skills including attention to detail;

-       Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
