The Opportunity
We are The Possible, a dynamic coalition of organizations committed to spearheading a movement of impact-driven entrepreneurship. Our mission is to catalyze the entrepreneurial spirit of Ukraine, sparking the change needed to reimagine, rebuild and revitalize our country from the bottom up. We focus on Impact investing, strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and Community Action Labs.
The Community Action Lab is a collaborative approach for tackling complex social challenges at their roots. It operates by convening a diverse group of stakeholders to work collectively towards systemic, sustainable solutions through an iterative and learning-oriented process. The Possible Lab offers a model for ongoing engagement, innovation, and collective action led by impact-entrepreneurs at the forefront of rebuilding their communities. We are piloting this initiative in Voznecens’k in partnership with ReStart.
We are looking to hire a dynamic leader who can build partnerships and manage operations for the Community Action Lab.
The Role
Purpose/Overview
The Possible Lab Lead is responsible for Lab implementation for The Possible Coalition (TPC). They are the operational interface between the TPC, Civic Ukraine, ReStart and wider stakeholders. They ensure that the Delivery Team has the support and resources required from TPC. They are also responsible for communications and education of the TPC members about the Lab and any capability building that is required by the TPC for the success of the Lab.
• leading day to day strategic, tactical and operational activities,
• coordination and facilitation of regional programs for renewal for Civic Ukraine,
• building regional capacities and network,
• building relationships with local municipalities.
• development and support of a network of regional representatives (youth organizations, authorities, etc.
• contributing the the Programming of the labs together with the Restart Ukraine & Civic
• effective monitoring, evaluation and reporting on regional activities
• assistance with communications related to regional activities
• assistance with activities and event planning.
Leadership and Line Management
• Attends weekly management meetings with The Possible Team
• Reports to The Possible Executive Team
Skills & Attributes
• 3+ years of experience in regional program management in the donor projects on the national and regional level,
• Experience working with the government on both national and local levels will be a plus.
• Experience in regional communities facilitation (labs, events, strategy sessions etc),
• Proven experience managing a diverse team,
• Strong interest in the renewal and rebuilding process,
• Urban development experience will be a plus
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Skilled in working with complexity and helping foster alignment and clarity
• Digitally savvy
• Values-driven
• Deep commitment and experience in advocacy for diversity, equality, inclusion and anti-racism.
• Fluent in Ukrainian and English.

• Based in Ukraine
• Salary to be discussed
• 4 to 5 days a week, compressed hours option available
• Willingness to travel
• Two-year contract with the intent to renew
