The Charity Foundation “NEW WAY” is a non-profit non-governmental organization working in the field of humanitarian aid, rehabilitation and development. Our main focus is the implementation of projects in the areas of WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene).

To implement a project in Kyivska oblasts, Charity Foundation “NEW WAY” is looking for a Procurement and Logistics Officer based in Kyiv.

Position: Logistics and Procurement Officer

Duration: 6-month contract with the possibility of extension

Probation period: 1 month

Responsibilities:

Procurement:

-       Support the Procurement and Logistics Coordinator in conducting procurement related to the project implementation in accordance with internal and donor guidelines and Ukrainian regulations

-       Ensure that accurate procurement documentation is maintained both in hard and soft copies

-       Provide quality and quantity control of the purchased products and services

-       Ensure effective and efficient relationships with vendors

 Logistics:

-       Manage day-to-day logistics operations including preparing all the support documents

-       Ensure safe and efficient transport of staff to the project locations

-       Manage transport requests, as per the project needs of the daily staff movement

-       Coordinate Driver’s movements, ensure proper tracking of vehicle movements and dispatch further checking of Logbooks filling.

Administration:

-       Arrangements for duty travels, hotel reservations, tickets.

-       Ensure that all office equipment and facilities work properly

-       Ensure that stationery and cleaning materials and other office supplies are replenished on time and with good quality.

-       Performing other admin duties such as the negotiation of office service contracts: office rent, internet, drinking water supply, ensuring the delivery of documents by courier services, photocopying, mailing, and filing.

Requirements:

-       At least a Bachelor’s degree in Logistic, Economics (finance), Administration, or a relevant field

-       Essential previous working experience of at least one year in similar positions

-       Essential good command of Russian and Ukrainian, both written and verbal, and good command of English

-       High-level competency in computer skills (Microsoft Office applications)

-       Working experience in an NGO is an asset

-       Strong administrative skills including attention to details

-       Ability to work in a team

-       Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
