For the purposes of project implementation, GRM is looking for a regional project coordinator for Kyiv region. The regional project coordinator will be responsible for preparing and implementing the project in the local communities in Kyiv region that have been affected by the Russian aggression.

The expert will be based in Kyiv or Kyiv region and will be reporting to the project manager.

The position will require extensive travelling around the region.

Level of Effort: Full time, Monday-Friday (part time involvement is not possible).

The duration of the contract is 7 months (till 15 January 2023) with no possibility of extension.

For contracting (after the job offer is made), the selected candidate should be able to get registered as a Private Entrepreneur of the 3^rd group (consultancy services).

Indicative duties and responsibilities (scope of work):

• Participate in the conceptual designing of the DLCs, their format and offered educational activities;

• Organize and conduct needs assessment in the Kyiv region in order to identify the venues of the future DLCs;

• Organize renovations in the selected DLCs venues, coordinate and oversee procurement of the foreseen goods and services;

• Organize recruitment of the DLCs tutors and coordinate their activities, including onboarding and ongoing trainings for the recruited tutors (in particular, on SEL and MHPSS);

• Oversee and ensure safe, effective and beneficial to the stakeholders operations of the DLCs;

• Ensure that the DLCs meet the educational needs of the war affected children residing locally;

• In cooperation with the educational content specialist, develop framework curriculum for the DLCs;

• Liaise and effectively cooperate with the local authorities to ensure smooth, effective and beneficial to the community partnership;

• Ensure transparent and efficient budget spending and report on that to the project coordinator;

• Coordinate a team of two people;

• Ensure high quality of work that corresponds with the quality standards of the GRM;

• Ensure that the project targets are met in the region.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Master Degree in Education/Social Sciences/Humanities/Economics/Law
• No less than 4-years experience in education sphere,
• Proven experience of organizational and managerial activities, in particular in education sphere;
• Proven experience and knowledge of project management best practices;
• Excellent communication skills
• Impeccable ethical standards
• High level of Ukrainian proficiency and at least intermediate level of English proficiency
• Driving license and ample driving experience is a must. Possession of an own car is a must.
