INTRODUCTION

Right to Protection (R2P) is a Ukrainian not-for profit organization. The Right to Protection (R2P) is a leading human rights NGO that works comprehensively to solve problems related to migration, its causes and consequences. R2P’s key programmatic strengths are legal assistance, monitoring, advocacy, capacity building, community-building  as well as humanitarian aid. 

R2P is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Deputy HR Manager.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Assistant/Recruiter will provide human resources assistance to the HR department. This includes supporting all human resources functions that are needed in R2P such as recruitment functions, training functions, employee support functions and others. The HR Assistant reports to HR Manager, and works in close cooperation with Programme Managers, Programme Coordinators, Projects Managers and with Team Leaders of the R2P Regional Offices.  

The position is settled in Kyiv. 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a full cycle of staff search and selection at various levels (preparing and posting a job description, screening resumes, selecting candidates for further interviews, etc.);

  • Analysis and processing of resumes;

  • Organize and conduct interviews online;

  • Provide feedback to candidates based on the results of the interviews;

  • Conduct reference or background checks, and other screening processes as needed;

  • Maintain reporting and statistics in accordance with R2P’s policies and procedures;

  • Maintain personnel records, in compliance with HR regulations; monitor the contractual status of staff;

  • Process onboarding documents and new employee orientations;

  • Support the R2P’s HR brand and corporate culture;

  • Ensure the completion of mandatory training for new employees, collect and keep the certificates;

  • Assist in organizing corporate events and meetings;

  • Carrying out necessary administrative duties;

  • Understand and follow the Fund’s Code of Conduct.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Unіversity level of education;

  • At least 2 years of working experience as HR Assistant;

  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, both verbally and in writing;

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, ability to deal with diverse groups of people;

  • Рeople oriented and results driven;

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills;

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company;

  • Cultural sensitivity and diplomacy;

  • Treat all people fairly without favoritism;

  • Fulfill all obligations to gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment;

  • Commitment to teamwork;

  • Highly motivated self-starter;

  • Flexibility.
