Description of Responsibilities :

Provides effective support to the HR Unit focusing on achievement of the following results:

  • Support in maintaining proper filing system
  • Implementation of electronic storage system (e-archiving)
  • Preparation of UN ID Cards

Impact of Results The key results have an impact on the execution of the CO HR services in terms of quality and accuracy of work completed.

  • Demonstrates commitment to UNDP’s mission, vision and values.
  • Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability

Functional Competencies:

  • Ability to perform a variety of repetitive and routine tasks and duties
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work possibly under time constraints
  • Strong IT skills
  • Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude
  • Remains calm, in control and good humored even under pressure

Qualifications :

Education: Applicants are enrolled in a degree programme in a graduate school at the time of application and during the internship; or have completed at least four years of full-time studies at a university or equivalent institution towards the completion of a degree, if pursuing their studies in countries where higher education is not divided into undergraduate and graduate stages.

Experience: Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.). Experience in handling of web-based management systems.

Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Ukrainian.
