Established in 1951, IOM is a Related Organization of the United Nations, and as the leading UN agency in the field of migration, works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. Context:
Under the overall supervision of the Emergency and Stabilization Programme Coordinator, and the direct supervision of the Portfolio Specialist (Reconciliation), the successful candidate will provide specialized support to the implementation of IOM Ukraine’s Community Stabilization efforts in Ukraine.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
1. Support the Programme Coordinator in the overall planning, implementation and monitoring of Community Stabilization efforts.
2. Assist in the coordination of IOM’s Community Stabilization efforts within the context of the relevant sectors.
3. Liaise with partner NGOs as well as with relevant national and local working-level government contacts, as necessary, under the guidance of the Portfolio Specialist (Reconciliation).
4. Support the mapping of Community Stabilization needs and beneficiaries in post-conflict areas.
5. Work together with in-house monitoring and evaluation team to devise and implement a monitoring system for Community Stabilization efforts.
6. Contribute to the contracting of partner NGOs and the procurement of goods and services.
7. Contribute to regular reporting (IOM internal, IOM external, UN-related, including 3W and situation reporting), correspondence, publication and presentation materials.
8. Provide information gathering management support to Community Stabilization programming.
9. Track relevant national development pertaining to Community Stabilization, and analyse, summarize and present findings.
10. Organize and/or take part in Community Stabilization-related events (meetings, presentations, discussions, visits, etc.).
11. Provide inputs and recommend improvements to the planning and delivery of programme activities.
12. Undertake duty travel within Ukraine pertinent to Community Stabilization programming on an as-needed basis.
13. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Fluency in English, Ukrainian and Russian is required.
