PH International is a US-based non-profit organization that has implemented programs throughout Ukraine for over 15 years. The organization is looking for a Program Coordinator in Crimea to join a project team for the implementation of a 16-month long tourism development project in Crimea. The project will create a central data base of known and newly identified tourist attractions in Crimea which will be made available for public use through digital channels (web, wap, mobile, GPS).

Position: Program Coordinator based in Crimea

Start date: expected July 1st, pending confirmation of funding.

Job requirements:

• Establishing working relations with governmental, non-governmental and private institutions in Crimea for project promotion and implementation.
• Conducting detailed review of existing tourist sights in Crimea, analysis and systematization of information.
• Collection of information about less known tourist destinations, attractions and routes throughout Crimea.
• Organization of educational seminars on client relations for tourist industry personnel and communities throughout Crimea.
• Organization of promotional campaign in Crimea before and during the 2011 tourist season.
• Ongoing project monitoring and evaluation Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or higher
• Minimum two years work experience
• Education in tourism will be an advantage
• Working experience in tourism, advertising or PR will be an advantage
• Language proficiency: Russian fluent; fluent English will be an advantage
• Mobility and ability to travel extensively throughout Crimea; driver’s license and car will be an advantage
• Self-starter, organized, efficient in time management, able to meet deadlines, goal oriented, able to work from home
• Familiar with standard office procedures and equipment, comfortable using Word and Excel programs, Internet browsers
• Excellent communication, cross-cultural and interpersonal skills Position reports to Project Manager and PH Country Director
