The Project Associate will assist with projects related to Advanced Conventional Weapon Proliferation, Supporting Global Nonproliferation Norms, Countering Technology Transfer, and Emerging Technologies.

Major Responsibilities:

• Supports research, planning and organizational tasks for meetings, workshops, trainings, grant competitions, site visits, conferences, and other events, both in-person and virtual.
• Supports program or division wide initiatives.
• Drafts reports and correspondence for funders, grantees, and consultants.
• Supports proposal development efforts.
• May travel within the US and internationally.
• Oversees document and information management to ensure records and databases, including electronic and physical files, are current and complete.
• Supports other programs and staff, as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key requirements:

• 1+ years of work experience in a related field.
• College degree or relevant experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and ability to work with more advanced software, such as Microsoft Project is preferred.
