Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creatively processing different perspectives and facilitating deliberation of multiple options with regard to different MDT policy initiatives;
• Mediating contrasting interests and reducing friction between multiple stakeholders; Bringing knowledge about the goals and motivations of different stakeholders early on to identify potentially troublesome differences, as well as similarities, to build negotiations upon;
• Putting the team’s results into digestible policy advice; Help teams understand complex policy environments and systems;
• Seeking out informed possibilities for policy change even when there is much uncertainty. Looking to embed new actions, models or systems into an organisation;
• Provide advisory support to the MDT senior management, identify critical challenges where the application of public sector innovation would bring the most benefits, develop comprehensive proposals and work plans for such challenges;
• Continuously explore MDT innovation areas, provide support to conceptualisation and building partnerships locally and internationally concerning such realms as digital economy, venture investment, digitalisation standards, etc.;
• Coordinate her/his activities with other experts working within the Policy Lab, ensure sound planning of her/his work, expected outcomes and activities according to MDT’s and team’s priorities and the innovation nature of this assignment
