The Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine  and the Solidarity Center  seek to hire an international affairs specialist.

With over 270,000 members, the Confederation is the leading independent trade union movement in Ukraine. Together, the Confederation and the Solidarity Center promote and protect internationally recognized labor rights and assist workers build democratic and independent trade unions in Ukraine.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and manage international affairs programs and cooperation and communication with global partners, including the International Labor Organization and the International Trade Union Confederation.

• Interpret for high-level international meetings and translate international correspondence. • Organize international meetings, conferences and seminars. • Prepare reports on trade union and worker rights violations in cooperation with the Confederation Legal Department. • Travel abroad to represent the Confederation at global forums on labor rights.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English, Ukrainian and Russian.

• Progressive values and interest in working with international organizations.

• Flexibility, good organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Willingness to travel.

• University degree in international relations, social studies, communication, or other related field.
