Центр міжнародного приватного підприємництва (CIPE) шукає проектного менеджера

Проєкт має на меті сприяти підвищенню рівня залучення бізнес-обєднань України, Білорусі та Молдови у процес прийняття та реалізації регуляторних рішень шляхом опанування інструментів зменшення адміністративного навантаження на малий бізнес та проведення адвокасі.

Менеджер працюватиме в Україні (перевага надаватиметься кандидатам з Києва) і виконуватиме обов’язки з нагляду та реалізації проєкту. Ідеальний кандидат повинен володіти чудовими навичками управління проєктами, організації роботи та комунікації. Знання основ регуляторної політики, інструментів зменшення адміністративного навантаження вважатиметься перевагою.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) strengthens democracy around the globe through private enterprise and market-oriented reform. CIPE is one of the four core institutes of the National Endowment for Democracy. Since 1983, CIPE has worked with business leaders, policymakers, and journalists to build the civic institutions vital to a democratic society. CIPE’s key program areas include anti-corruption, advocacy, business associations, corporate governance, democratic governance, access to information, the informal sector and property rights, and women and youth.

 

Position:                     Project Manager, CIPE field office in Ukraine, Kyiv

Reports To:                Country Director, CIPE field office in Ukraine, Kyiv

Scope:

This position is based in Kyiv, Ukraine and covers the responsibilities of overseeing the project implementation and management of a two-year project pilot in Ukraine, Belarus, and Moldova, funded by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation and implemented by CIPE. The position requires excellent project management, organization, and communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:

Project implementation, tracking, and management

  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Under supervision of Kyiv and DC staff, write and manage grants to local organizations and contracts with trainers, mentors, and other consultants by assigning tasks, communicating expected deliverables, and tracking activities
  • Communicate regularly with 9 partner organizations in Ukraine, Moldova, and Belarus; trainers, mentors, and other consultants
  • Collect feedback and data from partner organizations for reporting
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to DC staff about implementation, strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Monitor progress of project and make adjustments as needed

Financial monitoring and reporting

  • Track project costs in order to meet project budget
  • Under supervision of DC-based staff and in compliance with Helvetas and CIPE policies, prepare financial and operational reports for submission to Helvetas
  • Process invoices, contracts, grant agreements, vouchers, consultant and partner payments, payment requests and other financial documents as relevant to project.


Administrative support

  • Provide administrative and logistic support (venue booking, simultaneous translation ordering, materials printing, etc.) in organization of different events including meetings, conferences, trainings, presentations, round table discussions, etc. as relevant to project.
  • Work with Country Director and Program Officer on maintaining correspondence files, financial documents, contracts, etc. related to project.
  • Prepare routine correspondence and mailings and perform clerical duties, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of project management and related experience, preferably working with international donors.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • English proficiency.
  • Financial skills and business acumen preferred, particularly in budget creation and oversight
  • Ability to take initiative to manage multiple, detail oriented-tasks with limited supervision.
