The Project “Finland’s Support to the Ukrainian School Reform” (“Learning Together”) is cooperating with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in implementing the new vision of the Ukrainian school. The Project is funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and the the EU. FCG International in association with the University of Helsinki is implementing the Project. The expected long-term impact of the Project is improved quality of education and public perception of Ukrainian education.
The Project has a national coverage and it focuses on three thematic and inter-linked clusters: Teacher Preparation, Education Promotion, and New Education Environments
Goal and scope of the Call
Through this Open Call for Expressions of Interest, local experts in Ukraine are invited to join the Project’s pool of local experts who are interested in working with the Ukrainian school reform.
The short term expert assignments for local experts will be first offered directly to the experts who have joined the pool and fulfill the specific requirements of an assignment. The first fee-based short term job opportunities would be offered starting from September 2020.
The assignments will be developed based on the needs of the Project. The experts in the pool are free to accept or not the opportunities to be offered. Also, the Project cannot guarantee job opportunities for everyone in the pool.
The location of the work will be defined case by case including teleworking.
Areas of specialization we are looking for
- Teacher professional development
- Pre-service and in-service teacher training
- Education evaluation, assessment of learning
- Inclusive education
- School management
- Designing and conducting online training programs including material preparation
- Working with e-learning platforms
- Institutional development and capacity building including business development, marketing, quality assurance
- Other specialization areas withing the scope of the Project
General requirements
- Relevant education in the main area of specialization
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the area of specialization
- Experience in planning and conducting of online training is an asset
- Experience in international cooperation projects is an asset
- Sound writing and reporting skills in Ukrainian and English
