Inclusion Network Coordinator (Kramatorsk)

USAID Economic Resilience Activity (ERA), implemented by DAI GLOBAL LLC, empowers business and community development in eastern Ukraine. The project works in particular with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing and engineering sectors to promote innovations and expand to new markets across Ukraine, the European Union, and other destinations.

To strengthen our team and building the capabilities of vulnerable populations to capitalize on entrepreneurial and MSME economic opportunities, we are looking for a highly qualified Inclusion Network Coordinator for Kramatorsk. You will work with coalitions and leaders to articulate a vision for the future and put in place a modern, diverse, and SME-friendly economy.

About the job

The Inclusion Network Coordinator will create liaisons and strong communication lines with networks of business associations that include gender and vulnerable groups (people with disabilities, veterans, single mothers, IDPs, LGBTs, ethnic minorities, people living close to the conflict line) to support their activities and catalyze business growth and create new jobs and business opportunities for the target audience.

In coordination with inclusion team based on shaped strategy identify local NGOs for further support, which includes the creation of strategy of the organization with a focus on fundraising, social entrepreneurship, and social services providing, approach with dues, create sustainable links between NGOs and business associations, MSME clubs, clusters of entrepreneurs, organize events aimed to improve networking between NGOs, donor`s organization and business in Donetsk and Luhansk oblast, south of Zaporizhya oblast.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

• Create the database of local NGOs that women`s right gender and oriented, focused on the social inclusion of vulnerable groups.

• Design strategy of work with local NGOs based on results of pre-assessment

• Сontribute to strengthening the economic, methodological base of NGOs, business associations in Donetsk, Lugansk regions and south of Zaporizhya oblast

• Provide weekly/monthly/ annual reports to the direct supervisor

• Maintain support on communication and networking with national NGOs which would like to enter Donetsk and Luhansk oblast, south of Zaporizhya oblast with programs oriented on gender equality and on social inclusion of vulnerable groups

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have proven work experience in supporting the business association and MSME networks, solid experience in providing operational or technical assistance to development programming in Ukraine or similar country context, strong communication skills and ability to present the project to the key audience, strong collaboration, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, and ability to work with deadlines

Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

  • BS Degree in Economics/Management /Finance and at least 5 years of experience
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Frequent travel in eastern Ukraine required
  • Working knowledge of Ukrainian, Russian and English (English — upper-intermediate level is required)

Desirable

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Willingness to work in the field
  • Experience with USAID-funded projects is an advantage
  • Experience working in Eastern Ukraine is an advantage

WE OFFER

Contract length: 12-months employment agreement with a possibility of extension

Salary Level: We offer a competitive market-based salary level for candidates with relevant experience.

Duty station: Kramatorsk

Start date: June 2020
