Корпус Миру США в Україні шукає Youth Development Technical & Intercultural Competence Facilitators. 

Peace Corps Ukraine seeks qualified and motivated candidates for the short-term positions of Youth Development Technical/Intercultural Competence Facilitators (YD TCF) for its Pre-Service Training program. YD TCFs provide training and support to future Peace Corps Volunteers who will be working in youth organizations in Ukraine. Successful candidates will be required to take part in a mandatory paid training in Kyiv, during which they will be trained how to help Americans to adjust their skills and knowledge of youth development to a new cultural and educational setting. After successful completion of the training, candidates will teach the curriculum during a 9-week training in Zhytomyr region.

Employment Dates: Employment will take place in two locations:

• August 13-August 20 – Paid training in Kyiv
• August 21-October 29 – Paid teaching assignment in Zhytomyr region.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepares and facilitates technical trainings for small groups (5-12) of American adults
• Establishes and maintains professional relationships with local community authorities and schools/organizations to ensure effective internship activities;
• In collaboration with others, prepares and facilitates intercultural sessions and activities;
• Assesses progress in technical skills acquisition and application on a regular basis

Requirements: 

• A university degree in any field;
• At least two years of work experience in youth, education, or social sectors;
• Experience in working in youth camps and/or engaging youth in community projects;
• Good skills in conducting presentations and in facilitation
• Vision and passion for improving the lives of local communities; flexibility; creativity;
• An understanding of decentralization and the current reform process is a plus;
• Proficiency in spoken and written Ukrainian and English;
• Strong intercultural, interpersonal, teamwork & communication skills;
• IDPs and/or individuals from the conflict-affected areas are encouraged to apply;
• Willingness to work a flexible 6-day/week (40 hours/week) schedule, including on Saturdays
