БФ «Адра Україна» шукає Community Center Supervisor.

Due to humanitarian response, ADRA Ukraine is providing humanitarian assistance to internally displaced people in 15 regions of Ukraine. ADRA Ukraine is currently looking for an experienced Community Center Supervisor for the Project.

Location: Svitlodarsk/Avdiivka with possible travels around Ukraine (GCA, NGCA).

Starting date: ASAP

SCOPE OF ROLE:

  • ▪️ Reports to: CP/PSS Officer/ PSS Coordinator
  • ▪️ Staff reporting to this post: Psychologists and facilitators

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • ▪️ Organize, plan and coordinate the work of the center;
  • ▪️ Coordinate and plan activities with management directly by completing relevant documentation;
  • ▪️ Plan and coordinate the work mobile teams of psychologists and CFS;
  • ▪️ Assess psychosocial needs at locations;
  • ▪️ Evaluate the work of psychologists and facilitators within the commission;
  • ▪️ complete online formations and save schedules for mobile teams;
  • ▪️ Organize and conduct groups on a continuous basis with the aim of stabilizing the beneficiaries’ emotional state;
  • ▪️ Conduct an analysis of the work of the center according to the requests of the manager directly;
  • ▪️ Monitor compliance with personal safety rules;
  • ▪️ Conduct a general evaluation of psychologists;
  • ▪️ Monitor compliance with work rules;
  • ▪️ Check out schedule;
  • ▪️ Participate in the organization of trainings and other psychosocial activities;
  • ▪️ Participate in the preparation of purchase request for the logistics department;

  • ▪️ Analyze the level of emotional and behavioral disorders of people affected by the military conflict;
  • ▪️ Develop psychosocial, correctional and recovery programs for group work activities;
  • ▪️ To systematically analyze feedback on the results of group and individual consultations, and make appropriate changes to the events;
  • ▪️ Prepare weekly and monthly reports of quantitative and qualitative nature for the head of the department;
  • ▪️ Participate in the creation of promotional materials for social and psychological activities;
  • ▪️ take part in supervision;
  • ▪️ Responsible use and storage of the equipment provided;
  • ▪️ Continually improve their professional competence;
  • ▪️ Be guided in their activities by the basic ethical principles of professional psychological work and follow to basic humanitarian standards during employment;
  • ▪️ Other orders of Project Manager according specialize.

Required Educational Qualification, Skills and Experience:

  • Qualifications
  • ▪️ Requires university education with a relevant subject or equivalent field experience.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential

  • ▪️ Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in MHPSS, CP programmes in recreational, educational, child protection, and/or psychosocial support work, with at least some experience of working with children and families.
  • ▪️ Organized and disciplined with good communication skills and the capacity to work in tense situations, often under pressure and sometimes in insecure environments.
  • ▪️ Strong ethical sensitivity and ability to empathize with children and their careers.
  • ▪️ Knowledge and understanding on Child Rights, universally and in Ukraine.
  • ▪️ Knowledge and understanding on Child Development.
  • ▪️ Awareness of the current humanitarian situation and local context in Eastern Ukraine.
  • ▪️ Knowledge and understanding of the impact of emergencies on children and the psychosocial factors that contribute to child wellbeing/resiliency.
  • ▪️ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • ▪️ Strong computer skills, including the use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • ▪️ Prepared to work under pressure and able to work with minimum level of supervision.
  • ▪️ Experience of and commitment to working through systems of community participation and accountability.
  • ▪️ English, Ukrainian and/or Russian language skill required.
