About the Project:

In October, 2019, Agriteam Canada launched a new five-year project in Ukraine: Support to Ukraine’s Reforms for Governance (SURGe).

SURGe’s Ultimate Outcome is to help the Government of Ukraine (GoU) to deliver governance and economic reforms that better respond to the needs of its citizens. To achieve this, the Project will strategically enhance and strengthen the GoU’s reform management functions, namely its capacity to undertake planning and analysis of reforms that consider citizen impact, and to implement these reforms

Reform Initiative and Position summary:

The expert team will be deployed to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to provide communication support in implementation of eHealth project.

The goal of the reform initiative is to maintain a medical data system, which will compliment a pan-Ukrainian registry of patients, doctors and medical institutions, as well as possess data on contractual relations between them. The system precludes healthcare actors from concluding fraudulent agreements, as well as provide invaluable statistics on diseases and prescribed treatment, which still do not exist in Ukraine to date.

For this reform, SURGe Project is looking for а Junior Analyst (Media) who will be responsible for administration of SoE eHealth official website and eHealth Facebook page, create content for social and traditional media.

The expert will be based in Kyiv and will be reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO).

Level of Effort: Full time, Monday-Friday.

The duration of the contract is 2 months with a possibility of extensions (this is technical measure because of the Project’s transition and does not mean that this is a short-term initiative. Contract’s extension also depends on implemented deliverables during a previous deployment). For contracting, a candidate should be able to register Private Entrepreneur of the 3d group.

Indicative duties and responsibilities (scope of work):

  1. Administration of SoE eHealth official website.
  2. Administration of eHealth Facebook page.
  3. Assistance in drafting texts for social media sources.
  4. Preparation of texts for publications on the website of the DP and the official page of Facebook.
  5. Publishing news releases on eHealth and related topics on social networks.
  6. Monitor all media mentions on eHealth subject (especially, on SoE eHealth and eHealth system) using relevant search services.
  7. Use monitoring results in order to organize communication activities as efficiently as possible.
  8. Drafting responses for negative comments on different media resources (Google, traditional media, social media).
  9. Search for information and feedback on medical reform on the Internet (social networking).
  10. Data gathering and processing (analytics, cases).
  11. Assistance in the dissemination of positive information about SoE eHealth.
  12. Creates and maintains a database of media and sources of influencers.
  13. Creates and maintains media and influencer databases.
  14. Creating presentations for speakers.
  15. Create content for traditional media.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Required: higher education, preferably PR, Journalistic, IT education.
  2. Experience in the position of Junior media analyst/ PR specialist/ SMM monitoring expert – at least one year.
  3. Understanding the principles of the Internet and traditional media, social networks and search engines and their optimization.
  4. Proven expertise in using search engines and reputation monitoring systems.
