International organization on child protection and healthcare Terre des hommes is seeking for a Field Officer in Mariupol

Location: Mariupol

Position Type: Full-time

Core Functions / Responsibilities:

• Maintains close coordination with local state authorities and local partners in planning and conducting activities in different areas for different target groups, sharing information with all partners regularly
• Acts as field level representative, as called upon by the Project Manager during coordination and other meetings, evaluation and discussions
• Supervises, coaches and mentors local education specialists for smooth project implementation
• Organizes workshops, trainings and planning meetings
• Contributes to the development of evaluation and assessment tools (questionnaires, application forms etc.) for identification of project beneficiaries in his/her respective area
• Contributes to the coordination and information sharing mechanism with contact persons at local level (urban and rural areas) with the state and non-state actors (district social policy departments, INGO, NGO etc) for identification of project beneficiaries in his/her respective area
• Conducts field visits together with the project team
• Monitors and evaluates delivery of assistance, update and report to supervisor on achievements and constraints on a regular basis
• Prepares reports on main findings, achievements and constrains
• Assists with development of specification for procuring goods for logistic department;
• Monitors the implementation of the supply chain (procurement, transportation, delivery, storage, distribution
• Supports the reception and distribution of goods at Regional office level according to the internal regulation and ensure that all the necessary documents are filled out (acceptance certificates/delivery notes, stock cards, stock release forms, gift/donation certificates)
• Supervises the delivery of the merchandise and checks the quality & quantity in collaboration with the program team
• Supports and supervises travel logistics in the framework of the projects (planning, vehicles, tracking movements, etc.)
• Ensures the compliance with the internal guidelines regarding the risk of theft, armed robbery, corruption, embezzlement, errors and losses. Commit to respect Tdh Risk Management Policies including Child Protection and Safeguarding policy, Anti-theft Fraud and Corruption Policy and Whistle Blowing Policy. Report any breach observed in the framework of this policies during his/her professional activities both as regards the proven or suspected offence and preventive breach
• Supports other processes when needed

 Required Skills and Experience

 Education

• Studies in Sociology, Psychology, Public Administration or other relevant fileds
• Additional courses, certification is plus

 Experience

• At least two years of relevant working experience with project management in social or in non-governmental field
• Experience in using such computer software as Microsoft Office Language
• Fluency in English, Russian, Ukrainian is required
