Німецьке товариство міжнародного співробітництва оголошує конкурс на заміщення вакансії Head of HR.

Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is a federal institution engaged in a variety of the specific activities aimed at providing sustainable development. Under a commission from the German Government, the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has been assisting Ukraine since 1993 in its transition to a democratic state based on the rule of law. Ukrainian-German cooperation currently focuses on the following areas: Good governance; Energy efficiency; Sustainable economic development. GIZ is implementing measures in Ukraine on behalf of five German ministries, the European Union (EU) and also the British and Swiss Governments.

Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is looking for a Head of HR in GIZ Country Office Kyiv

Main responsibilities:

·       Establish and maintain HR-related processes within the company, operational (i.e. policies, concepts, strategies) and administrative tasks 

·       Formulate solutions for complex issues and fundamental issues relating to HR issues 

·       Advise leadership team on personnel-related and employment law areas 

·       Ensure smooth payroll processing, maintain contact with payroll unit 

·       Moderation of the events related to HR management as well as preparation of the contents (e.g. onboarding for newcomers, assessment and development centers, etc.) 

·       Coordination of annual performance assessment and personnel development

·       Managing Compensation and Benefits in alignment with corporate policies, ensure they are relevant to and up to date with the market, advising leadership on this area, build relevant communication for managers and employees

·       Running HR-related tenders, e.g. training providers, medical insurance, external consultants, etc. 

·       Effective coordination and collaboration with the GIZ headquarters teams/departments

·       Manage internal communications related to HR 

·       Lead and manage HR Team in accordance with company’s management principles and guidelines 

Requirements:

Qualifications 

·       MSc/MBA/master’s degree in human resources management, sociology, law, economics, or related field required 

·       SHRM/CIPD will receive consideration but is not required

Professional experience 

·       At least 7-10 years’ in human resources with responsibility in major areas of HR

·       Proven experience leading, supervising and managing professional staff 

·       Experience in international companies 

·       Full understanding and knowledge of all HR functions and best practices 

·       Good knowledge of the Ukrainian labour legislation

Other knowledge, additional competences: 

·       Finely tuned organisational skills and ability to work on one’s own initiative

·       Strong and effective communicator in business presentations, in interpersonal communication and in writing 

·       High degree of work ethics standards, discretion and integrity

·       Discreet behavior vis-a-vis third parties in all internal matters·

·       Ability to see the big picture and provide useful and strategic advice and inputs across the company 

·       Ability to work in agile context 

·       Innovative and hands-on approach 

·       Very good working knowledge of ITC technologies and computer applications (e.g. MS Office, SAP-HR) 

·       Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal, knowledge of German is an advantage 

Assignment: 

Start of the contract June 2019 until the mid of 2021 on a full-time basis.
