Location: Ukraine, Kiev  

 Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with contractual and statutory obligations of the companies (banks, accounting standards, tax and laws)
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of quarterly and annual statutory, regulatory and other reporting/returns for companies, both in local GAAP and IFRS.
• Manage relations with Auditors, banks and advisory firms (tax and accounting)
• To be a part of administration committee
• Oversee and control finance managers of projects and chief accountants
• Review and update business plans/forecast model as appropriate for projects and for administration
• Identifying and implementing improvements and efficiencies to processes
• Advising on strategies to improve organization financial performance and making recommendations on appropriate key financial targets
• Working with ADRA Headquarters on the preparation of board updates and quarterly board papers and the budget
• Working closely with the management team, taking an active role in supporting the strategic development of organization
• Being in charge of the follow up of the invoices and commitments approval process for all organization
• To assist and control ongoing process of transaction from National accounting standards to IFRS
•  Ensure compliance with internal control rules
• Report any anomaly to management and ADRA Headquarters

Qualifications/Experience: 

• At least 5­years’ experience in management accountant/audit (project financing)
• Studies with specialization in Accounting or Finance
• Good information system skills
• Good accounting knowledge
• Strong knowledge of Ukrainian legislation related to finance, HR and accounting;
• Languages: Fluent English required.
• Experience of working in humanitarian programs is an advantage.
