StrategEast Grants Manager

Job Description

StrategEast (www.strategeast.org) pursues the mission of creating closer working ties between political and business leaders that proclaimed or restored their independence after the collapse of the USSR outside of Russia and their peers in the U.S. and Western Europe.

We are searching for a strategic Grants Manager to work with our organization in identifying new sources of funding and coordinating grant applications.

Responsibilities:

-manage overall grant efforts;

-identify and develop strategies to optimize the grants administration process;

-document payments and expenditure;

-oversee if the grants are implemented according to the operational and financial needs of the organization;

-optimize the grant administration process;

-prepare progress reports;

-monitor paperwork and other related documents connected with grant-funded programs;

-manage grant databases;

-engage with donor agencies. 

Skills 

-Proven track record of successful grants programs coordination

-Methodical and strategic thinking

-Good understanding of the organization’s overall business and its objectives

-Excellent communication skills

-Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and produce quality results on time with attention to detail

-Project management skills

-Skill in research and analysis

-Excellent organizational skills

-Budgeting and accounting experience

-Knowledge of donor agencies

-Strong writing skills.
