Capacity Building Manager у БО «Надія і житло для дітей»

Представництво благодійної організації «Надія і житло для дітей» в Україні оголошує конкурс на заміщення вакансії Capacity Building Manager. Дедлайн - 5 травня 2017 р. (далі - англ.).

Key accountabilities:

The Capacity Building Manager will lead on the development and putting in place a strategic and integrated capacity building plan. The Capacity Building Manager will have to identify, develop and promote tools, guidelines, curricula for capacity building which help us (Hope and Homes for Children www.hopeandhomes.org.ua) mobilise people to implement deinstitutionalisation, develop family and community-based care for children, family support services based on common understanding, principles and good practice. The Capacity Building Manager plays a senior role carrying the responsibility of the quality of training programmes delivered within the organisation. This includes:

  • Review professional development needs 
  • Develop and deliver internal training programmes including induction training to new staff and refreshers to existing staff in organisation and created services
  • Assist with the assessment of professional development needs in  partner organisations (local authorities, national organisations, and technical staff in government)
  • Lead the development of training materials, curricula, training assessments; train the trainers manuals, training support courses, and other professional publications
  • Lead the development of comprehensive training program on deinstitutionalisation
  • Coordinate the delivery of training programmes
  • Establish strong working relationship with trainers and experts in the relevant field
  • Set up and maintain a coordination system to achieve the best use of capacity building resources
  • Lead the development of funding applications for the implementation of national and regional training and capacity building programmes

Position Requirements:

  • Higher education in social sciences, social work, public administration, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of international training standards
  • Knowledge of childcare, child and human rights.
  • Experience in writing and producing training courses and other professional publications
  • Experience in managing and supporting colleagues remotely
  • Experience in delivering training to professional audiences
  • Experience in working with NGOs and government partners
  • Strong training, facilitation and reconciliation skills in international, multicultural settings
  • Excellent communication, networking, and inter-personal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to cope with changes in priorities
  • English – written and spoken
