Internews is seeking candidates for the position of Program Coordinator.

General function:

• The Program Coordinator provides programmatic and administrative support to U-Media implementation (USAID-funded), in particular to the small grants program. 

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Supervise the project implementation under at least 15 small grants to Ukrainian media organizations;
• Ensure that the project performance adheres to the grant agreements and timely reporting;
• Serve as primary point of contact with U-Media small grantees;
• Make site visits to regional media organizations implementing the small grant projects;
• Draft pieces for Internews weekly briefers, monthly plans and semiannual program reports;
• Work closely with DCOP and program managers in coordination of Internews activities in Ukraine;
• Other duties as assigned by Internews management.   

Qualifications required:

• Relevant Master’s degree or equivalent work experience;
• Minimum of two years of program coordination experience in international technical assistance programs;
• Excellence in writing in  English, Ukrainian and Russian;
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to work under strict deadlines;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Demonstrated understanding of the political and economic situation in Ukraine;
