Ukraine is a subunit of a large worldwide network present in more than 125 countries, with the HQ in Washington D.C. ADRA Ukraine has been operating in Ukraine since 1993. Due to humanitarian response, ADRA Ukraine is providing humanitarian assistance to internally displaced people in 15 regions of Ukraine.

A new project aims to develop hygiene and sanitation at Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine by distributions of hygiene kits and information campaign, and to provide population of Donetsk and Lugansk regions with access to clean drinking water.

Grade:                                     6 - for Ukrainian nationals – Civil Agreement

Starts up date:                      02/11/2015

Duration of the contract:    till 29/02/2016 with possible prolongation

Location:                                Based in Donetsk/Lugansk regions of Ukraine, or Kyiv

Summary

The Field Coordinator will be directly responsible for smooth and timely implementation of the project.  This will include program planning, staff management, monitoring and evaluation, timely reporting, finance management. The Project Manager will closely cooperate with the Emergency Projects Coordinator, project partners, other stakeholders and ADRA’s office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

-       Participates in management, coordination and implementation of distribution and information campaign parts of the project, coordinates all project-related activities in the field level

-       Manages all administrative tasks related to the set–up and implementation of related part of the project

-       Supervises support services field work in cooperation with project teams

-       Assists the project team in recruitment of local staff, holds training and briefs for distributors

-       Collects information from the Field for M&E Manager on weekly updates and reports for the cluster

-       Updates the Emergency Coordinator & Project Mangers in HQ (Kiev) on programs implementation

-       Works in collaboration and participatory manner with all project partners and project stakeholders (local authorities, NGO representatives, pilot communities, development partners etc.)

-       Monitors the social climate in the field

Qualifications and Skills Required:

-       Experience in implementation of humanitarian projects, or volunteering is an advantage

-       Basic experience with logistics, distribution, reporting

-       Understanding of emergency & humanitarian context

-       Willingness to do both administrative work as well as project work

-       Flexibility and being solution-oriented

-       Teamwork skills

-       Attention to details
