SOS Children’s Villages UKRAINE isa non-profit organization working in Ukraine since 2003, is recruiting Fundraiser as a full time employee, who will be based in the National office in Kiev. In Ukraine we have facilities and projects in Kiev, in Brovary, in Lugansk & Lugansk region

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Making contacts with national and international partners in order to attract founds
• Raising funds according to the business plan and targets based on research, tests and continuous evaluations of fundraising opportunities, methods and results.
• Buildin long lasting relationships with donors
• Carring out PR activities according to the PR business plan in order to support the fundraising activities and to position SOS Children’s Villages in the country
• Haveing good mix of products (committed giving, merchandising, donations in kind, tailor-made proposals, single/sporadic gifts), channels (direct mail, face2face, mass media, internet, events…) and markets (individuals, corporate, foundations, major donors).
• Responsible for fulfilling the business plan and for reaching the set and agreed targets.
• Supporting and coordinating othe depts in their local fundraising activities
• Arranging and conducting important FR events and reporting afterwords for internal and international publication 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• University degree in business administration, marketing or fundraising.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and social competence.
• Competence in strategic planning, budgeting, analysis and evaluation.
• Good MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point especially Access) commands.
• Able to deal with persons in high (social) positions and to get along with various types of people.
• Well-rooted in the country in his/her field of work (member of relevant associations and networks).
• Good contacts to press and media and relevant agencies (communication, advertising, promotion agencies)
• Understanding for the specific position of Public Relations towards Fundraising
• A proven track record of at least 3-5 years in fundraising, marketing or sales - depending on the educational background.
• Feels comfortable with asking directly for money support.
• Good command of English, written and spoken
