Chemonics International оголошує конкурс на вакансію інженера у Харкові (далі - англ.)

Chemonics International, a global consulting and international development firm, seeks Ukrainian professionals for a USAID-funded three-year development project. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. Chemonics is specifically recruitingengineers for both short-term and long-term opportunities. Based in Kharkiv, Ukraine, geographic areas for assignments may include Mariupol, Slovyansk, Luhansk, Kramatorsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and other liberated cities as the security situation permits.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee anticipated small to medium scale, non-capitalrepair and rehabilitation activities.
  • Designing and analyzing repair and rehabilitation needs assessments.
  • Assessing the feasibility of project reconstruction and rehabilitation activities.
  • Supporting the development of a reconstruction and rehabilitation strategy for affected communities involving public and private sectors.
  • Working with technical and construction experts to design project activities, including project management, planning, monitoring, and reporting.

 Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with specialty in civil engineering or relevant field required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Professional experience in civil engineering, construction, the design of civil works, and/or construction supervision.
  • Experience in analyzing and implementing rural infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact productively with technical and construction experts
  • Experience working with Ukrainian civil society organizations, as well as international donors or organizations, including USAID, preferred.
  • Interest in working with an international team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout eastern Ukraine, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia, and liberated cities in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts as the security situation permits.
  • FluentUkrainian and Russian required; written and spoken English proficiency strongly preferred.
