МБФ "Добробут громад" шукає спеціаліста із залучення ресурсів/координатора з комунікації (далі - англ.)
Responsibilities:
- Support Director of Fundraising and Communications in implementation and design of a fundraising plan and strategy that will enable the Ukraine program to tap resources, both local and overseas
- Constantly update fundraising plan related to resource development with corresponding strategy, priorities, objectives and specific goals
- Participation in Development of new project concepts and project proposals within the scope of Heifer’s mission and the Ukraine program focus that would be of interest to in-country and international funding sources
- Ensure successful ramp-up of newly developed and approved projects before transferring project management to project coordinators
- Tap government agencies as well as private donors as resources for fundraising, develop partnership and collaboration in project implementation
- Gather information and possibilities of agencies, organizations and other groups that could assist in the completion of Heifer-Ukraine’s mission (every week)
- Assist in PR support of all ICF “Community Wellbeing” activities
- Organize and manage database of partners and potential donors
- Help to organize information support for visits of representatives of donors and external evaluators
- Maintain and update communication and networking files, materials and photographs (both hard and electronic copies)
- Answer information requests of different active and potential donors, Heifer International Headquarter, mass media, other stakeholders
- Assist in preparation and submission of progress reports, annual reports, and final project reports to donors
- Assist in editing newsletters, brochures and the website of ICF “Community Wellbeing”, as well as program reports
- Translate and edit documents as needed
- Place materials on organization’s website and update relevant web content
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
Education and/or Experience:
University education in Public Relations, Public or Business Administration, Journalism, Sociology, English, Tourism, Culture or related field required; plus three (3) year experience in fundraising required; other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient English and Local language writing skills for publications, stories, articles
- Ability to produce accurate documents in a well designed and attractive format
- Story writing and photography skills
- Computer proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools, electronic mail and internet (Microsoft preferred), desktop publishing software, image & picture editing software
- Ability and willingness to work with flexible schedule.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, including attention to details
- Ability to cooperate effectively with project partners
- Ability to foster and maintain a spirit of unity, teamwork and cooperation
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Sensitivity in working with multiple cultures and beliefs, and to gender equity
- Basic understanding and sensitivity to issues associated with poverty, hunger and environment.
