International Charitable Organization “Charitable Foundation “SOS Children Village” is looking for Family Based care Advisor.

Mission of the position:
The Family Based Care Advisor supports the National Programme Development Director (NPDD) in implementing and monitoring standards that relate to quality of child and youth care of SOS Children’s Village programmes in the country. The Family Based Care Advisor performs an advising role by evaluating and monitoring quality of implementation of child and youth care standards in all projects based on relevant child care standards, SOSChildren’s Villages Programme Policy and other policies and guidelines.
Develop concepts in SOS programm
Participation in studies and research projects related to quality of child and youth care within SOS and/or in cooperation with governmental and non-governmental organisations.
Providing expertise support to the Program Leaders in Child rights and FTCHdevelopment sphere
Adjusting international requirements to local regulations in SOS family based care projects in the country
Organising and selecting qualified trainers for the theoretical and practical training for Main care givers and child development co-workers. 
Setting up child protection process and procedures 
Provide suport in recruitment, orientation, adaptation and development of wo-workers in family based care and child rights spheres
Perform professional monitoring, evaluation and audit most specifically in the field of quality of child and youth care, family based care and FTCH

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Higher education in the psychology, social or pedagogical field , development studies or public administration
- At least 3 years experience of implementing a social programme(s), family based care 
- Strong skills and experience in, project management, planning, monitoring, research and evaluation of activity
- Upper-intermediate written and spoken English 
- Basic financial understanding
- Basic human resource development skills. 
- Good knowledge of family based care, children’s rights and social development issues
- Good knowledge on the national legislation in the social sphere

- Able to manage own time and to work under high pressure
- Good at relationship building with different levels of the organisation 
- Excellent communication and networking skills 
- Team player
- Keep deadlines
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
- Good MS Office skills
- Experience in community mobilization 
- Experience in NGO sector is a big plus
- Work experience in the pedagogical area or as a business trainer. 
- Will and ability to cope with flexible working hours and to travel occasionally.
