General overview: Local Capacity Development Project (LCDP) Coordinator is responsible for coordinating LCDP, a sub-project in the framework of the Community Development Project of Peace Corps Ukraine focused on assisting Ukrainian NGOs that are USAID partners in increasing their organizational capacity through cooperation with Peace Corps Volunteers (PCVs) assigned to these NGOs. LCDP Coordinator will work closely and under supervision of Peace Corps Community Development Lead Specialist and will coordinate the work of PCVs with the targeted NGOs, providing general support to PCVs and technical support in NGO Organizational Development area.
Responsibilities include: preparing targeted NGOs for hosting a PCV, observing Peace Corps policies and housing standards, communicating regularly with PCVs, providing communication and mediation assistance to PCVs in maintaining their relationships with their hosting NGOs, providing technical consultations and advice to PCVs and hosting NGOs on organizational capacity improvement, performing necessary administrative and clerical duties (filing, creating logs and forms, filling in forms, collecting and analyzing data, monitoring project budget expenses, reporting).

Additional Comments: Position is contingent on provision of funding. After an initial application screening, the best-qualified applicants will be invited to a testing process and oral interviews. A background security investigation will be required for all hires. The successful applicant must be able to receive a security certification.
