The Country Program Director is responsible for ensuring full support of Ukraine AHF program. (S)He is responsible for strategically leading, directing, developing, and managing of all aspects of AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s (AHF) program in Ukraine as an effective member of the AHF EECA Bureau leadership team.

The Country Program Director ensures that the AHF’s mission statement, core values, and key partnership standards and practices are the foundation of AHF’s strategies and work.

Education and/or Experience:

• Medical Degree in Human Medicine with and 3-5 years experience;
• or Master of Public Health, relevant Master of Science degree and 3-5 years experience in managing public health/international development programs.

Other Skills & Abilities/Qualifications:

• Proven skills in management, supervision, leadership and networking, with at least 3-5 years supervisory experience.
• 3-5 years of field experience in managing public health / international development programs.
• Highly skilled in HIV/AIDS programming, preferably within Ukraine context, funded by major donors, such as the U.S. Government, Global Fund for AIDS, TB, and Malaria, corporations, foundations, etc.
• Fluency in English, Russian/Ukrainian.
• Must be culturally sensitive and able to work in a wide variety of settings .
• Ability to travel at least 25% of time to operations sites as assigned.
• Valid Ukrainian residency or ability to apply for Ukrainian work permit.
