Responsibilities:

  • Assist project director in planning, implementation and evaluation of projects
  • Process information requests, conduct institutional strengthening and capacity building of Project Holders – Agricultural Service Cooperatives (PH-ASC) and small farmers
  • Coordinate implementation, and monitor designated projects
  • Provide advice on SM enterprise development, agricultural and environmental issues

Education and/or Experience: Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA), management, agricultural economics, or equivalent. At least 3-years experience in working with international organizations in the field of development of rural communities and SMEs, preferably with grassroots membership based organizations (Agriculture Service Cooperatives and their Unions).

Reporting: Reports to Project Director and Director of Programs

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Practical skills in business development (including business planning) and project management.
  • Budgeting and budget monitoring
  • Writing skills for reports, publications, stories, articles
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet.
  • Fluent English, Ukrainian.
  • Valid driver’s license, practical skills.
