English Teaching Resource Center is excited to invite English language teachers, students and all interested to the next workshop in the series of teacher training workshops on Task-Based Language Teaching - “Designing TBLT Lessons Based on a Listening Text”, conducted by Oleksandr Moskalenko.

Workshop Description:

Participants in the workshop will consider how listening texts can be used as a basis for a task-based lesson. They will first participate in a small sample lesson which uses listening text as a basis for tasks. They will then review the basic principles of TBLT method and will look at what other types of tasks based on listening text we can use. Finally, they will practice to apply the new knowledge in a small simulation exercise.

Presenter's biography: 

Oleksandr Moskalenko is an English Language instructor with 30 years’ experience of teaching all levels of General English from Beginner to Advanced, Cambridge Exam preparation classes as well as Business English and Legal English and writing. In 2000 he set up his private language center and for the last 15 years he has been self-employed teaching adult professionals at local and multinational companies in Ukraine and abroad. He is an author of a book “How to learn English”, many articles on methods of teaching and learning the language and a writer of numerous tailor-made programs in Business skills and Legal English and writing.
