Семінар для викладачів англійської мови з практичного використання методики Task-based Language Teaching з Олександром Москаленко у п'ятницю, 4-го вересня, о 16:00 у Ресурсному центрі для викладачів англійської мови (Києво-Могилянська Академія) (далі - англ.).

PRESENTER: Oleksandr Moskalenko is an English Language instructor with 30 years’ experience of teaching all levels of General English from Beginner to Advanced, Cambridge Exam preparation classes as well as Business English and Legal English and writing. In 2000 he set up his private language center and for the last 15 years he has been self-employed teaching adult professionals at local and multinational companies in Ukraine and abroad. He is an author of a book “How to learn English”, many articles on methods of teaching and learning the language and a writer of numerous tailor-made programs in Business skills and Legal English and writing.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of the workshop is to demonstrate some basic ways to design communicative tasks based on reading texts. The participants will get a brief overview of a Task-based Language Teaching approach and will participate in a sample TBLT lesson based on a reading text. They will afterwards discuss how texts can be presented in a task-based framework. The workshop will finally illustrate six different task designs which aim to encourage natural reading strategies.
