Presenters: Venny Ala-Siurua, Associate Program Officer/ United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Anna Piekkala, Associate HIV Prevention Officer/ World Health Organization, Johanna Puhakka, Communications Assistant in United Nations & Igor Reznik, Coordinator of Youth Initiative Group «ReLife»/ International Charitable Foundation «INSHE ZHITTIA» (granted project of UNODC, that provides drug abuse prevention and promotion of healthy life style and well-being).

In Ukraine, drug use is becoming increasingly socially acceptable among youth, resulting in difficult life situations and serious health problems. At the same time, young people have had a limited say over how to effectively prevent youth from using drugs, often leading to judgmental drug prevention messaging done by adults.This workshop will take the first steps to involve young participants more in assessing the current drug prevention approach and develop messages that the youth of today is ready to listen to be better prepared to say no to drugs.
