American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) is announcing an Open competition to select an organization to provide technical development and implementation on a specialized training platform of two online educational courses for a wide range of legal professionals (video development and publication on a specialized platform). As part of the Open competition, ABA ROLI will also consider proposals without the inclusion of the cost of publication on its own or partner’s specialized training platforms (video development only). The Open competition is held within the framework of the project “Promotion of Internet Freedom in Ukraine”.
The American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) is a non-profit program, under the ABA’s Fund for Justice and Education, that implements legal reform programs in more than 50 countries around the world. In October 2019, ABA ROLI launched the project: “Promoting Internet Freedom in Ukraine.” This 36-month project aims to empower cross-sector Internet Freedom (IF) champions to advocate for laws and policies that promote IF and online freedom of expression (FoE).
Description of the service
It is expected that the winner of the Open competition will carry out technical development and publication on a specialized platform of two online training courses for a wide range of legal professionals. We will also consider offers without the inclusion of the cost of publishing on our own or partner specialized platforms (video development only).
The educational format should be interactive and simple for audio and visual perception. Students of the course must have unlimited access to materials and the opportunity to test their knowledge with the help of tests.
It is expected that the course should consist of videos, lecture presentations, infographics, useful literature and lecture notes. It is also desirable that test results, if given a certain number of correct answers, allow users to receive a certificate in electronic form, which will be generated and sent automatically, as well as be able to provide feedback on the information received.
Please refer to the full announcement attachment (in Ukrainian) for complete details and instructions for the funding opportunity.
The proposal and other supporting documentation as required by the announcement must be submitted to [email protected] in full by the application deadline to be considered for cooperation.
