5–6 вересня 2025 року Житомир перетвориться на міжнародний діалоговий майданчик між культурними діячами,  митцями, журналістами, науковцями, державними інституціями та громадськістю. Будемо говорити про культуру як інструмент захисту української ідентичності та імпульс у повоєнному відновленні країни, а також про культурну дипломатію, як інструмент інтеграції України в європейський культурний простір, протидії дезінформації, поширення нашої національної культури та цінностей у глобалізованому світі.

Окрім дискусійних панелей за участі українських і міжнародних експертів, частиною роботи стане конкурс-виставка картин молодих художників з України та інших країн. До участі запрошуються художники від 9 років. Зареєструйтесь онлайн за посиланням  або за QR-кодом на постері, надішліть організаторам цифрову копію картини (фото, скан тощо) в гарній якості (не менше 4000 dpi). Картини будуть надруковані в розмірі A2 (42,0 × 59,4 см). Положення про конкурс-виставку знаходиться за посиланням. Крім того, запрошуємо молодих художників на пленер в мальовничому куточку Житомира в рамках Форума 5 вересня 2025. Реєстрація обов’язкова тут.

Міжнародний форум культурної дипломатії “ART FOR PEACE” стане подією, яка прикрасить програму урочистостей до Дня міста Житомира.

On September 5–6, 2025, Zhytomyr will become an international platform for dialogue among cultural figures, artists, journalists, scientists, government institutions, and the public.
We will discuss culture as a tool for protecting Ukrainian identity and as a driving force in the country’s post-war recovery. The event will also focus on cultural diplomacy as a means of integrating Ukraine into the European cultural space, countering disinformation, and promoting our national culture and values in a globalized world.

In addition to panel discussions featuring Ukrainian and international experts, the forum will host a competition-exhibition of paintings by young artists from Ukraine and abroad. Artists aged 9 and older are invited to participate.
Please register online via the link or QR code on the poster, and send the organizers a high-quality digital copy of your painting (photo, scan, etc.) — at least 4000 dpi. The artworks will be printed in A2 format (42.0 × 59.4 cm).

Moreover, young artists are invited to take part in an open-air painting session in a picturesque location in Zhytomyr on September 5, 2025, as part of the Forum. Registration is mandatory via the provided link.

The International Forum of Cultural Diplomacy “ART FOR PEACE” will be a highlight of the official program celebrating Zhytomyr City Day.

The project is implemented by the NGO “Youth Organization ‘Hope Is’” in partnership with “Creative Sensor” NGO, with the support of the Zhytomyr City Council.
