Who?
We welcome any grantmaking foundation, bilateral donor, international organisation and corporate funder which is based or working in Central Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.

What?
This will be a dynamic conference, packed with interactive sessions, debates and leading keynote speakers. In the run up to the event, we’re asking you to choose the subjects you wish to be covered in some of the sessions.

Where?
The GEF will be held at the Radisson Blu Latvija and is generously hosted by the Soros foundation-Latvia.

When?
Tuesday 4 October to Thursday 6 October 2011

This conference offers you an unparalleled opportunity to get together with all your counterparts who are working in the region to network, share ideas and discuss the challenges and opportunities for grantmaking in this dynamic and constantly-changing area of Europe.

Eligibility

Participation in GEF 2011 in Riga is only open to participants who meet the following eligibility criteria:

• you represent a grantmaking/operating foundation or a public/multilateral donor
• your organisation is active, or interested in becoming active, in one or more countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union

How to register

1. Go to the registration login page

2. Enter your email address and password

– If you do not already have login details please click on
‘request a login’ and follow the onscreen instructions

– The email address used must be the email address of the
delegate wishing to attend the event

3. Go to the ‘new registration’ page and select the event you wish to register for

4. Complete the form and payment details

You can view all your registrations for EFC events on the ‘my registrations’ page.

NOTES:

The EFC reserves the right to deny any registrations that are submitted
The conference language is English; no translation/interpretation is available
Grantseeking is strictly forbidden during the GEF

Please do not book any travel or accommodation before you have received confirmation that your registration has been accepted

Once a registration has been submitted it cannot be cancelled/amended without contacting the GEF Secretariat. Please pay attention to the cancellation policy when registering

Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be made in writing to the GEF Secretariat. We shall give full refunds (minus processing charges) for cancellations received by 23 September 2011.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR THOSE WHO CANCEL AFTER 23 SEPTEMBER 2011

All refunds will be processed after the conference has taken place
