Продукт-менеджер для веб-порталу з експорту буде відповідати за стратегічне планування, узгодження розробки всеосяжного та зручного веб-порталу, завдяки якому український малий та середній бізнес зможе отримувати інформацію про можливості, доступні для сприяння експортній діяльності. A vibrant small and medium-sized enterprise sector is a vital success factor for a sustainable economic growth. As the majority of SMEs in Ukraine produce mainly for domestic markets, it is important to create business opportunities for high performing, internationally competitive SMEs to expand to new markets. The project “Ukraine: Consolidation of SME export potential and facilitation of access to foreign markets” will be implemented in 2018-2019 in line with activities of Export Promotion Office.

1. Scope of work and tasks

The Product Manager for the Export Web Portal will be responsible for strategy planning, coordination of development of comprehensive and user-friendly web-based portal for the local SMEs to receive information on opportunities available to facilitate their export activities. This includes:

  • Development of a detailed project plan and progress tracking;
  • Preparation of business requirements for the Export Web Portal in dialogue with the main stakeholders – businesses, governmental bodies, NGOs etc.;
  • Compliance of the Export Web Portal with the requirements of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine;
  • Organization of the necessary web-portal-related tender procedures;
  • Coordination of the sub-contractor’s activities including, but not limited to preparation of technical task, prototype, design, layout of the Export Web Portal etc.;
  • Organization of content-creation for the Export Web Portal;
  • Overseeing and work progress monitoring, ensuring that the activities delivery is within the agreed timescale and budget;
  • Maintaining and securing regular reporting to the EPO head, communication with the key stakeholders;
  • Facilitation of transfer of the property rights to the relevant governmental body at the end of the assignment.

2. Deliverables

  • Creation of the Export Web Portal;
  • Facilitation of transfer of the property rights to the relevant governmental body at the end of the assignment (subject to legal arrangements and review).

3. Essential experience, skills and qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years in a software product management role or similar related experience;
  • Experience in development of large web projects;
  • Proven project management track record, operational and managerial responsibility.

Skills and qualification

  • Excellent organizational skills, understanding of project life cycles, ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex commercial, legal and financial information;
  • Positive thinking, strong in relationships building.

Education

  • BA/BS degree in a related field;
  • Fluency in oral and written Ukrainian and English.
