Офіс зв'язку НАТО в Україні оголошує про відкриття вакансії інтерна. Дедлайн - 2 січня 2017 р. (далі - англ.).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine (NLO) was established in 1999 to facilitate political and military co-operation between the Alliance and Ukraine. In recognition of the growing importance of the NATO-Ukraine partnership the NATO Representation to Ukraine (NRU) was established in March 2016. The NRU is composed of the NLO and the NATO Information and Documentation Centre (NIDC), and is headed by the Director of the NLO.

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated student/recent graduate to learn about NATO-Ukraine co-operation first-hand and gain valuable work experience in the fast-paced international environment of a growing diplomatic mission.

The successful candidate will be offered a stipend and will be expected to make a commitment of at least 6 months. Depending on the successful candidate’s schedule, both a part-time and a full-time commitment is possible.

 SCOPE OF WORK AND RELATED DUTIES:

  • Receive, distribute, track and file incoming, outgoing and internal correspondence.
  • Assist with scheduling and logistical arrangements.
  • Translate received documents into English/Ukrainian.
  • Perform routine office tasks (phone calls, copying, faxing, etc.).
  • Perform research and drafting tasks as required.
  • Prepare office rooms and conference rooms for meetings.
  • Assist Administrative Team as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Applicants must be pursuing a degree at a higher educational institution of recognized standing (preferably in International Relations, Political Science, social sciences, law or a related discipline) or have graduated within the last 2 years.
  • Professional fluency in Ukrainian and English;
  • Ability to work in organized manner, meet deadlines and work in a team;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required;
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office applications, Internet).
