Дедлайн - 16 жовтня 2016 р. ПРООН в Україні оголошує конкурс на заміщення вакансії Rule of Law and Community Security Analyst (далі - англ.).
The Rule of Law and Community Security Analyst, under the supervision of the Programme Coordinator (Community Security and Social Cohesion), will be responsible for:
Delivering the specific activities envisaged in the Project in the area of Community Security in collaboration with the project’s Rule of Law and Access to Justice Analyst;
Supporting the work performed under UNDP’s Access to Justice workstream as well as other outputs, by developing and forging partnerships with project – and national and regional sector - stakeholders (civil society and governmental);
Implementing a community-based approach by supporting CMO’s/CJO’s work with local communities to engage with the justice and security providers and with local authorities;
Ensuring the Project team to mainstream community security and human rights issues into reform priorities, while providing support to project management and implementation.
Specifically, s/he will perform the following tasks:
Providing support to the implementation of the rule of law related Project activities in the justice, law enforcement and community security area.
Building partnerships with Project stakeholders and partners.
Provide support to the project management and implementation.
Required Skills and Experience
Master’s degree or equivalent in law, international relations, political science or a related field; completed Bachelor’s degree in combination with 2 additional years of relevant working experience may be accepted in lieu of Master’s degree;
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience including 2 years of practical experience in the field of community security, law enforcement, or rule of law or related area is required. Experience in community based development or related area and/or experience with civil society organizations would be a strong asset;
Familiarity or previous experience with national law enforcement or justice institutions would be a strong asset;
Previous experience with a multilateral or international technical assistance or development organization would be an asset;
Experience in preparing action plans, and conducting research is desirable;
Professional fluency in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, both written and oral.
