Компанія DAI Global оголошує конкурс на заміщення вакансії Access to Finance Specialist.

DAI, a global development company based in the United States, is seeking an  Access to Finance Specialist for its USAID Economic Resilience Activity project. The project hopes to improve the overall economic resilience of eastern Ukraine.

Role’s Purpose: The Access to Finance Specialist will engage with banks, non-banks, governmental, regional and private funds, USAID Ukraine Financial Sector Transformation Project (FST) and other donor projects to expand access to finance for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) located in the government-controlled area (GCA) of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. This work will include the provision of technical assistance to expand lending, co-financing or co-investment opportunities, de-risking and blended finance.

Objectives and Duties:  

  • Work with stakeholders influential in the GCA to expand SME credit and finance opportunities.
  • Provide targeted assistance to the Project’s growth sector and value chain SMEs which may include firm-level assistance in the preparation of business plans and loan applications.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate expanded access to finance with ICT-based solutions.
  • Become an expert on the landscape of SME access to finance in Ukraine and globally through study of primary and secondary research including USAID ERA’s Rapid Assessment report, FST data and that of other technical assistance and think tanks.
  • Become an expert on the Ukrainian SME financing legal and regulatory framework.
  • Travel as needed to conduct interviews and collaboration with stakeholders in Ukraine and abroad.

  QUALIFICATIONS:

•          A bachelor’s degree with seven years of experience or a master’s  degree with five years of experience.

•          Preference for experience working the financial, credit and/or banking industries.

•          Preference for experience working in donor-funded technical assistance projects in Ukraine or similar country.

•          Ukrainian language fluency required; strong preference for English fluency.

•          Must be willing to work out of project office located in Kramatorsk, Donetsk oblast.
