An international NGO Mercy Corps is implementing programs in Luhansk Oblast.  Mercy Corps is currently recruiting for positions in Severodonetsk office (Luhansk oblast). Successful candidates should meet the education and experience requirements for each position description and have a strong knowledge of spoken and written English.

TRANSLATOR

Qualifications include:  

• Minimum 3 years’ work experience in similar roles
• University degree (preferably linguistic)
• High computer skills on MS Office programs
• Fluency in Ukrainian/Russian and English (written and spoken) required.

Responsibilities include:

• Make verbal and written translation from English into Russian or Ukrainian languages and from Russian/Ukrainian into English language for Mercy.
• Review documents for accuracy, spelling, grammar and style‐guide standards; verify references.
• Interpreting from / into English at the meetings, conferences, etc.;
• Preparation and translation of reports
