Вакансії в проект «Фінська підтримка реформи української школи»

Проект «Фінська підтримка реформи української школи», який реалізується компанією FCG International, відкрив три вакансії: експерта з підвищення кваліфікації вчителів, спеціаліста та асистента програми. Дедлайн - 21 грудня 2018 р. (далі - англ.).

Finland’s Support to Ukrainian School Reform is a development program funded by Finland. Our Project will be complemented by an EU funded component related to supporting the teaching of Ukrainian as the State Language in regions with language minorities. The Project is implemented by FCG International.

We are currently looking to employ a qualified:

Expert in the areas of Teacher Professional Development in Language Teaching and Second Language (L2) instruction

The responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to:

  • overseeing and coordinating the activities of the language component
  • contributing to the implementation of the activities with his or her skills and knowledge
  • supporting other teacher training and learning material development activities within the project when applicable.

The person we are looking for would have:

  • At at least 10 years’ working experience in education sector development, especially with language didactics, Ukrainian language instruction and/or methodologies of second language teaching
  • Experience in working with national minorities in Ukraine
  • Good knowledge of the Ukrainian education sector development and familiarity with the New Ukrainian School
  • Good networking relations with education sector stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, be pro-active and have good communication skills
  • Experience/knowledge of bi/multilingualism is an asset
  • Participation in international education projects/programs is an asset

Program Officer

The responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to:

  • supporting the implementation of the language component under the coordination of the Ukrainian Language Expert and the Chief Technical Advisor
  • report writing
  • assisting in other activities within the project
  • helping in other office duties and activities when needed.

Desired qualifications:

  • applicable university degree
  • at least five years’ experience in similar positions
  • experience in working with international organizations

Program Assistant

The responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to:

  • supporting different component activities, especially such as various school level activities and educational camps
  • assisting in other teacher training activities within the project
  • helping in other office duties and activities when needed.

Desired qualifications:

  • at least three years’ experience in similar positions
  • experience in working with international organizations
  • willingness to upskill when required.

All the above positions require excellent command of English and Ukrainian, both oral and written. Command of Hungarian and/or Romanian is recommendable. Good computer skills and ability to work under pressure is also required.

All positions will be filled for the whole duration of the project, tentatively 3.5 years.
