Foundation is looking for 2 volunteers to the project “Migrants and community”.

I. Volunteer, as info point consultant.
The volunteer will be involved in the following diverse activities:
– consulting immigrants at access point
– support people in various institutions
– assistance in developing information materials
– co-organizing workshops and seminars for immigrants
– technical support in our Centre
– Cooperation with local government, non-governmental and cultural institutions.
Implementation of own ideas and projects; participation in the projects of the Foundation; assistance in the regular activities of the Foundation, as well as office help.

The planned duration of the project: September 2018 – August 2019

II. Volunteer, event assistant and promotion support
The volunteer will be involved in the following diverse activities and motivated to take initiative:
– Organizational activities and events for migrants and local community
– Cooperate with promotion team (promotion of events, creating ads, etc.)
– Office work and study aids preparation
– Assistance in the preparation of intercultural activities
– Implementation of own ideas and projects; participation in the projects of the Foundation; assistance in the regular activities of the Foundation, as well as office help.

The planned duration of the project: September 2018 – August 2019

Volunteers will have a coordinator who will take care of the definition and execution of tasks.
There will also be determined Mentor person who will assist volunteers in adaptation, integration and solving domestic problems.

The Foundation provides volunteers with:

– Adaptation courses on arrival

From volunteer’s foundation expects:
– Strong motivation for the projects
– Creativity, openness and tolerance
– Responsibility and independence
– Knowledge of languages: Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, English
– Preparation of ideas in their own mini project / activity

If you want to apply, you have to send your CV and Motivation letter (no more than one A4 page) and project idea before 20.04.2018.
