Job summary

This position is based in Mariupol with travel between the regions of IMC operations in Ukraine. Logistics Manager will provide a comprehensive and coherent supply chain support for the IMC Ukraine operations and support to its partner organizations, which includes coordinating planning, purchase and distribution of supplies, equipment and services for the program.

Essential responsibilities 

• Purchases supplies, equipment and services.
• Responsible for the preparation of procurement documentation in accordance with Ukrainian law and IMC regulations.
• Manages all contracts including supply, transport and rental contracts.
• Makes sure the deliveries are processed in an adequate and timely manner.
• Identifies and negotiates with vendors.
• Organizes and maintains the fleet of vehicles.
• Manages the transportation of the staff and goods in the field.
• Manages logistics aspects of external visits and organization of workshops and seminars.
• Retains records for mission assets, equipment and procurement.
• Participates in the proposal development and budget pipelines planning.
• Provides logistics support in opening and closes of offices and bases.
• Supervises the work of the service staff (assistant and drivers).
• Responsible for export compliance.
• Provides regular reports to country management team and IMC headquarters.
• Responsible for other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and experience

• Proven working experience in logistics and procurement for at least 3 years.
• Flexibility and accuracy at work.
• Ability to work under pressure and in stressful environment.
• Working knowledge of English, fluency in Ukrainian and Russian.
• Computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience with a non-profit organization is a plus.
• Formal education/training in Logistics desired - can be compensated with experience (at discretion of evaluation team).
