Тренери для програми Culture Bridges

Culture Bridges is a new programme to support the development of the cultural sector in Ukraine by enabling it to engage more effectively with cultural organisations and operators in the European Union (EU). Culture Bridges is largely funded by the EU as part of support to the implementation of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine and is managed by the British Council in partnership with the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) network in Ukraine.

The programme will run from November 2017 to October 2020, with total funding of €1.3 million. The programme will fund a range of activities including training, events and calls for proposals .Full information about the programme is available at website. Creative Europe is the European Union's programme to support the cultural and creative industries. From 2014-2020, €1.46 billion is available to support European cultural projects which have at their base collaborations between different countries. More information about the program is available at www.creativeeurope.in.ua or https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/creative-europe/ Organisations from Ukraine can apply to Creative Europe’s Culture sub-programme. Full participation in the MEDIA sub-programme depends on the alignment of third countries audiovisual legislation with that of EU countries. Failing this alignment, they may still participate in the following schemes of the MEDIA sub-programme: Training, Festivals, Film Education and Access to Markets.

The Culture Bridges programme wishes to strengthen Ukraine’s participation in the Creative Europe programme by enhancing the Ukrainian cultural sector’s skills in developing applications. This will involve a series of ten Creative Europe application development workshops delivered by expert trainers in larger (tier 1 and 2) cities of Ukraine, working in collaboration with the Creative Europe Desk. We are therefore looking for trainers to help us deliver 10 one-day workshops across Ukraine which introduce the programme, its different strands and the different requirements for its main calls. We want to improve the quality of applications and ensure potential applicants receive support around their project proposal preparation. Assignment Scope Number and dates of workshops: Up to 5 one-day workshops per trainer (spring/autumn of 2018- 2019). Specific dates will be negotiated with trainers. Indicative number of participants: Around 25 participants per workshop.

Role of Trainer:

  • Prepare the concept and structure of the workshops in cooperation with Creative Europe Desk Ukraine.
  • Prepare presentations and other relevant materials for the workshops.
  • Deliver up to 5 one-day workshops in larger (tier 1 and 2) cities 2 of Ukraine in cooperation with the Creative Europe Desk Ukraine.
  • Share practical experience in working with international projects, application process, project development and management.
  • Prepare a two-page report at the completion of each workshop. Trainer Profile Applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. An excellent knowledge of the Creative Europe programme and its application processes. 2. Experience in preparing or leading a project funded by Creative Europe or proven experience in advising/consulting projects funded by Creative Europe. 3. Experience in conducting workshops, seminars, trainings or masterclasses on cultural management, project management, funding or other related fields. 4. Experience in working with cultural operators in Ukraine is desirable. 5. Ability to communicate in English.

Applications can come from anywhere in Ukraine and the EU but we cannot accept applications from public officials or Creative Europe Desk members of staff. Application and evaluation process Applicants wishing to be considered for the role of trainer must submit the following documents:  A detailed CV in English in the Europass format;  A one-page cover letter in English briefly describing the applicant’s relevant experience and motivation to become a trainer for the Culture Bridges programme.

References must be available on request. All applications will be considered in strict confidence. All applications will be assessed against the requirements set out above. We aim to inform applicants of the results of their selection within two weeks of the deadline. The British Council reserves the right to reject all or any of the applications.

Terms and conditions. Please indicate fee expectations in your cover letter. Fees should be inclusive of all tax and social contributions. This rogramme is VAT exempt. 3 In their cover letters, applicants must declare any existing or potential conflict of interest related to the programme or any other professional or personal circumstances that might affect the fulfilment of the role of local expert. Should a conflict of interest arise in the course of any assignment under the programme, the expert must immediately notify the British Council. Failure to declare this may result in termination of the expert’s contract.
