Due to humanitarian response, ADRA Ukraine is providing humanitarian assistance to internally displaced people in 15 regions of Ukraine.

ADRA Ukraine is currently seeking an experienced Psychosocial support (PSS) Coordinator for two-year project funded by German Federal Foreign Office.

SUMMARY

The PSS Coordinator will be directly responsible for smooth and timely implementation of the psychosocial component of the project.  This will include program planning, staff management, monitoring and evaluation, timely reporting and finance management. The PSS Coordinator will closely cooperate with a Project Manager, project partners, other stakeholders and ADRA’s office staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation of PSS component in strong collaboration with other project components including Shelter, WASH and Referral;
• Manage all administrative tasks related to the set–up and implementation of related part of the project;
• Supervise support services of fieldwork in cooperation with project teams;
• Assist the management staff in recruitment of local team; hold trainings and briefs for psychologists;
• Collect information from the Field for MEAL Coordinator on weekly updates and reports for the cluster;
• Work in collaboration and participatory manner with all project partners and project stakeholders (local authorities, NGO representatives, pilot communities, development partners etc.);
• Monitor the social climate in the field;
• Other duties as assigned by a Project Manager

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• University degree in the fields of Psychology;
• Experience in implementation of humanitarian projects including PSS activities;
• Experience in reporting;       
• Experience in organizing PSS mobile groups and Child Friendly Spaces is an advantage;
• Understanding of emergency & humanitarian context;
• Willingness to do both administrative work as well as project work;
• Flexibility and being solution-oriented;
• Fluency in Ukrainian, English and Russian languages is a must.
• Strong teamwork skills.
