Position Title: Intern (paid)

Duration: 6 months with possible extension 

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The NATO Professional Development Programme (PDP) in Ukraine is an integrated part of the NATO Representation to Ukraine (NRU), mainly aimed at providing training to civilian personnel within the wider defence and security sector. PDP is strategically linked to the Cabinet of Ministers (CABMIN) and activities are conducted in close coordination with our Ukrainian partner institutions.

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated recent graduate to experience NATO-Ukraine co-operation first-hand and gain valuable work experience in the fast-paced international environment of a growing diplomatic mission.

The successful candidate will be offered a stipend and will be expected to make a commitment of at least 6 months based on full time work.

SCOPE OF WORK AND RELATED DUTIES:

• Support office activity planning and tracking
• Participate in selected activities and coordinate feedback forms and attendance statistics 
• Perform routine office tasks and logistical arrangements
• Assist in administrative and designated project work
• Perform other tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Applicants should have graduated, preferably in International Relations, Political Science, Law or related disciplines
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English;
• Ability to work in organized manner, meet deadlines and work in a team;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required;
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office applications, Internet);
• Applicants should possess Ukrainian citizenship.
